On my new series “Katrina Leftovers” about the historic neighborhoods of New Orleans still scarred by the hurricane, I used DxO FilmPack’s Kodachrome 25 film profile. It gives my work the edgy, dated feel I want to convey with my subjects. For my usual work (special events, portraits, etc) I tend to stick with the Generic Fuji Provia or Velvia 100.”

DxO ad campaign featuring “Katrina Leftovers” to go live tomorrow

My contact at DxO Labs emailed this morning, to let me know that the new banner ad campaign for their DxO FilmPack will go live tomorrow. I will be among a handful of other photographers whose work will be showcased to promote the product.

The ads will have my portrait and a quote by me about the software, with clickable links to view samples of my work, as well as direct links to my website. There will also be a special page with our testimonials on their website, with the same info & links.

The exposure I’ll get from this is so great, and I still find it hard to believe that the project I started earlier this year has gotten such good professional reviews in a short time. This is a very exciting opportunity for me, and I can’t wait to share the ads here tomorrow!
